Graseby Syringe Driver Update

Smiths Medical Australasia has ceased sales in Australia of the Graseby syringe driver, but will continue to provide service and maintenance on the device for at least five years. Palliative Care Queensland is working with Palliative Care Australia (PCA) and the Centre for Palliative Care Research and Education (CPCRE) to keep the Queensland community informed of developments.

Click here for a link to an update from the Centre for Palliative Care Research and Education on this matter.

This issue was also addressed at the Ninth Australian Palliative Care Conference, and PCA and CPCRE continue to work together on helping the palliative care sector address the question of alternatives to the Graseby.
